The X1 Tablet Gen 3 is exciting. The X1 Tablet Gen 2 didn’t have any new features. But this year, it’s completely different. The modular design is gone, so you don’t have to buy any separate modules.

Not many new features with the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga Gen 3. We’re primarily seeing the same changes as with the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 6, introducing the ThinkShutter and the 15W quad core processors.

The ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 6 isn’t going through many changes this year.

Both the ThinkPad T480 and ThinkPad T580 are getting the new USB-C docking station that is directly connected to Thunderbolt 3.

The ThinkPad X280 has some significant changes this year, which I find personally unfortunate. I always liked the box look of my ThinkPad X240s.

The ThinkPad T480s is the ultrabook in the ThinkPad T-series.

The ThinkPad L380 Yoga is a completely new model. The ThinkPad Yoga 370 is now moved to the X-series, and will be renamed to ThinkPad X380 Yoga. The difference here could be first of all the build quality and the materials used.

The ThinkPad L-series are considered the budget series of ThinkPad used in corporate environments. The E-series are more aimed at entertainment with their faster GeForce graphics cards. The L-series offer slightly better displays than the E-series.

In October’s update for the Lenovo Yoga Book with Android. Users have now received support for the ExFAT filesystem, allowing files bigger than 2GB. This is probably in the wake of Lenovo announcing the new Yoga Book 2.0 with more storage capacity, turning your Yoga Book into a media entertainment system.
